  • If you think you may need an extension for your work please discuss this with your marking tutor. Extensions may be given for up to two weeks after the original deadline for extenuating circumstances. If agreed by your tutor, ensure you have written confirmation of your new deadline.
  • Please note extensions are not given on resit assignments.
  • In some cases you may wish to apply for Mitigating Circumstances. Mitigating Circumstances are defined as a serious or acute problem or an event beyond your control that has prevented completion of an assessment or attendance at examinations. Please come into the Student Information Desk to collect a form and to receive further guidance on how Mitigating Circumstances might help you.
