The online LLS Appointment system prevents all students booking more than 6 appointments in one academic year. Our work supplements the work of your Module Tutor, Course Tutor and PAT (Personal Academic Tutor). Therefore, you should only need to see us when you need extra help. Our focus is to ensure that all students are independent learners and not reliant on Learning Development Tutors to complete their assignments. To remedy this demand for one-to-one appointments, we introduced a drop-in service in 2013 so that if you feel you need more help, you can see a tutor for 10 minutes every day - there are no limits on this. Our online resources – which are available via the Skills Hub and Learning Development Nile Tab – are also a good way for you to develop your academic skills further.
