When you are looking for an item you should always start by checking NELSON as this will tell you what we hold and give you up-to-date information about where items are.
If the item you are looking for is listed as ‘Available’ but you are unable to locate it on the shelves there are two possibilities - the item may currently be in use by someone else or it may be missing temporarily. It’s worth checking to see if there’s an electronic version available but if there isn’t then please speak to a member of staff, or email the details of the item to email@example.com. We will flag the missing item with our ‘Lost Items Team’ and ensure that a copy is reserved for you to use, providing all remaining copies are on loan.
