The foyer area of Park library is an ideal space to hold your event.  To find out how we can help you please email  and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.

Please be aware that ideally one week’s notice is needed to ensure we can efficiently manage a space for your particular event.  It would be very helpful too if you could provide the following information:

  • Names and student numbers of organisers
  • Contact numbers of organisers
  • Details of the foyer event
  • Number of tables and chairs required
  • Date and times required
  • Registered charity number (if applicable)
  • Risk assessment for the event

If you are a society registered with the Student Union wishing to use the foyer space, then you need to book via Alison Savage (, who will send us all the details with the correct risk assessment.

There are a couple of things to be aware of, your booking is provisional until we confirm via email and unfortunately we cannot take bookings for cake/food sales in the foyer. Furthermore, your booking confirmation will detail all terms and conditions.

Please also note that regrettably there is no space in Avenue library for events to be arranged.
