Q. How to find module code for setting up NILE site

Some guidance on using SEAtS to indentify what your module ID is, so you can use that to formulate a Module Code that you need to set up a NILE site.

Answer

To set up a new NILE site you will need your MODULE CODE.

One easy way to find your module code is on SEAtS.

Accessing SEAtS via the student portal:

Using the desktop icon:

Locate the SEAtS Logo on your desktop of any University computer. Double-click the icon and the programme will open.

If accessing the link from a University computer, you will be login automatically, for other devices, use the same username and password that you use to log in to NILE and your PC.

On a widescreen monitor, you will see a blue bar along the top with the menu items, on a smaller screen you will need to press the 'burger menu' (Three horizontal lines. Top right corner).

From the options pick Lectures. Change the date (and time if necessary) to find your class.

The column module ID will show you the first part of your module code. If the information is not there you will need to contact curriculum@northampton.ac.uk. If you notice any discrepancies you will need to contact tim@northampton.ac.uk to make them aware of that.

Here is an example of a module code: BUS1001-STD-1718. The module ID is 'BUS1001', 'STD' shows it is delivered on campus, and which year.
