Q. How do I share my Turnitin rubric?


Turnitin rubrics are associated with each staff members personal login and can only be shared manually with another member of staff if exported by the creator and then imported by another member of staff.

As part of this process, you will need to email your Turnitin Rubric to your colleague who will then import the rubric. The rubric will then be and fully editable by another user.



Export / Import a Turnitin rubric (Quick Guide)

1. On the left-hand navigation, Go to > SITE MANAGEMENT > Site Tools > Turnitin Assignments

2. Click on one of the assignment titles 

3. In the tabs select > Libraries

4. Click the option > Rubric/Form Manager


5. Use the highlighted drop down menu to select the rubric you want to export


6. To export the rubric use the button on the right-hand side (the file will save in your download folder)

7. Identify the rubric in your download folder (it will have the file extension .rbc) and send to the person who you want to share your rubric with by attaching to an email.

8. The recipient of the rubric will need to follow steps 1-4 and then click the button on the top right to import the rubric, and select the rubric file from their download folder.


9. Once imported staff will see the rubric in the drop down list shown in step 5.
